2025 Rainforest Illumination Project Officially Launched

We are thrilled to announce the official launch of the 2025 Rainforest Illumination Project today! This will be our team's largest initiative to date, with 30 volunteers set to participate in installing solar power systems for indigenous Penan villages in the Borneo rainforest of Malaysia.
Project Details
This two-week project will take place from July 5 to July 19, 2025. In addition to installing solar panels, we will conduct a series of rainforest conservation workshops to share environmental knowledge and techniques with local communities.
Goals and Vision
Our primary objective is to provide sustainable electricity solutions for three remote Penan villages. These communities have long suffered from unstable power supply, significantly impacting their quality of life and children's learning environment.
Through this initiative, we aim to:
- Provide clean energy to at least 50 households
- Train local residents in solar system maintenance
- Raise environmental awareness in the community
- Establish long-term partnerships to support local development
We sincerely invite you to support our cause through donations. Every contribution will directly fund solar equipment and training materials, helping us bring light to more remote communities.
